YouVersion is an online Bible tool developed by LifeChurch.tv. It is different from other online Bible such as BibleGateway.com in the sense that it’s more than just a text Bible but it also has an Audio version.
Aside from the Audio version, you will also be able to engage with other registered YouVersion users, create your own reading plans, write a journal, bookmark and tag verses, contribute to the community, link verse as a reference, and save a contribution as your “Like” or I assume it works like My Favorites.
The mobile version is available for Iphone, Blackberry, and Android and boasts the following features:
1. 40 different translations in 22 languages (including Spanish, German, French, Chinese, and more)
2. The One-Year Reading Plan provides daily selections to keep you on track when you’re on the go.
3. Search the entire Bible for a word, phrase, or verse, and get your results in seconds.
4. Jump to a verse quickly by typing the reference in the search box.
5. Learn from others by checking out recent contributions. Just tap the number next to the verse.
